Hamida Zaapayim Mohammed Amin is a Research Assistant with hands-on experience in data collection, analysis, and project support. Her research experience spans healthcare and nutrition, including studies on patient-perceived quality of health, newborn morbidity and mortality, and the Condiment Micronutrients Innovation Trial (CoMIT) project. Notably, her undergraduate thesis on bouillon cube usage involved fieldwork in rural Northern Ghana, where she conducted interviews with household cooks and analyzed data using SPSS. She has also assisted in data collection and project write-up for studies on patient-perceived quality of health and extracted
data from the Local Health Information System (LHIMS) for research on at-risk newborns. With experience in nutritional counseling, public speaking, and advocacy, Hamida brings strong communication and interpersonal skills to her work. Additionally, she has expertise in report writing and proficiency in tools such as SurveyCTO, Microsoft Office, and Google Workspace, supporting research aimed at improving health outcomes.
